The Ste. Genevieve County Sheriff's Office Detention Center is a modern facility with approximately 100 to 115 inmates housed daily. The Detention Center is capable of housing up to 125 detainees and serves all Law Enforcement for our community to include local, state and federal agencies. There are currently 28 full time employees that work in the Detention Center.  These employees are responsible for transporting inmates to and from court, out of state and in state extraditions, facility security, in addition to the responsibility of housing inmates.  Inmates held in this facility range from civil detainees to dangerous felons.
